Nelson Garner

Nelson Garner, age 60 of Forsyth County, passed away, Sunday, December 2, 2012. He was a 50 year member of Cumming Second Baptist Church. He loved deer hunting, fishing and taxidermy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Effie Garner; son, Kevin Garner; sister, Rachel Jackson; brother, Charles Edwards. Survivors include his wife, Harriette Garner; son, Travis Lee Garner; step children, Beth (John) Gomez, Darlene Raines, Dale (Donna) Ballew, Richard Ballew; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Linda) Garner, David Garner, Wayne Garner; special friend, Leroy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Rickett, Rev. Terry Cowart, Rev. Richard Martin, Rev. Alan Swafford and Rev. Tim Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
