Nieta Page Arwood

Nieta Page Arwood, age 85, of Calhoun, GA passed away on June 9th, 2024. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nieta was born with a servant’s heart and used her gift of music from an early age to share the good news of Christ - with over 50 years of childrens choir ministries and also serving as interim music minister on occasion. She retired from a career in real estate where she held both a brokers license and was a paralegal for over twenty years. Nieta was married to her high school sweetheart, Richard for over 66 years. She was also known for her infectious smile.

Nieta is preceded in death by her husband Richard Arwood and her parents, Harold Page and Jeanne Haslett Page

Nieta is survived by her daughter, Keli (Todd Thomas) Arwood; son, Jeff (Michelle) Arwood; grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Davis, Taylor (Alexandra) Hilliard, Meaghan (Mike Griffin) Hilliard, Ada Arwood; great grandchildren, Zachary, Colton, Dawson, and Brinley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Calhoun FUMC. The family will receive friends at the church after the service in the fellowship hall. "Miss Nieta’s" former childrens choir members are encouraged to attend.
