Olar Mae Tucker, 82, of Gibson, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. Born on April 23, 1944, in Alabama, Olar Mae lived a life rooted in family, love, and devotion to those she held dear.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Boyd Tucker for 57 years and will forever be remembered as a loving sister, mother, granny, and great-granny. Olar Mae’s greatest joy was her family, and the love she poured into them will continue to live on through the generations.

She is survived by her siblings, Louise Covington, Betty Ann Pruitt, Rosalie Cloud, and Bo Callahan; her children and their spouses, Mike and Anita Tucker, Bobby and Nicole Tucker, Michelle Ingram, and Josh and Felicia Miller; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Olar Mae will be remembered for the love she gave, the family she cherished, and the memories she created throughout her 82 years. Though she is no longer here to share her stories, hugs, and wisdom, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:30pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the hour of service.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed.
