Otilija Siemaska

Otilija Siemaska 94, died September 12, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1929 in Zarasai, Lithuania, daughter of Mikalojus Meskauskas and Stefanija [Beinar]. Her older brother predeceased her during WWll (Missing in Action).

Leaving Europe during the war they moved to Sudbury, Ontario Canada where she married her Husband Algimantas Siemaska of 23 years who predeceased her in 1973. They were blessed with 3 children, Oldest Arimantas Siemaska, Daina Magnussen (Siemaska) and predeceased youngest son Gintaras Paulius Siemaska. She was also blessed with 3 loving grandchildren, William Gregory Magnussen, Dane Alexander Magnussen and Jesse Nicholas Magnussen.

Mo (Otilija) worked in the Kitchen with her mother for the Nickel miners in Canada. 

Moving to Woodhaven New York where she became a Hairdresser and later went into Banking and worked as a head teller.

In 1978 she met her partner John Czas and lived together for 46 years. They both retired and moved to Miami Florida for 15 years, where she enjoyed the weather and loved to walked the beach. In 2008 they moved to Cumming, Georgia to be closer to her daughter, son and grandchildren.
