Patricia Murphy Maier

MAIER, Patricia Murphy, died Friday, March 27, 2020 in Cumming, GA.

Patricia (Pat) was born on February 6, 1929 in Akron, Ohio. She was a graduate of Ohio State University where she met her husband, Robert (Bob) L. Maier. They raised their family in Bethesda, MD where Bob worked for Kaiser Aluminum In Washington DC. They retired to Hilton Head, SC which became their paradise.

Pat enjoyed playing bridge, reading books, watching sports (especially the Buckeyes) and most of all, cherished spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her husband and is survived by two daughters: Pamela (William) ODonnell of Berlin, MD and Sandra (Jeffrey) Mion of Sugar Hill, GA; three grandchildren: Lauren Day, Gregory Mion and Megan Myers; two great-grandchildren: Grant Day and Elizabeth Day; and her beloved cocker spaniel: Billy.

Services will be private.
