Patricia Ann Pearson

Patricia Ann Pearson, age 79, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was a native of Forsyth County and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and WMU. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louise Garrett; son, Jeffrey Pearson; brothers, Bobby, R.L., J.C., Donald, and Bart Garrett; father-in-law and mother-in- law, George and Duvelle Pearson; brother-in-law, Neal Pearson; sister-in-law, Joyce Woodall. She worked for the Forsyth County Board of Education for over 40 years. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved her family and loved to travel.

She is survived by her husband of 61 ½ years, Harold Pearson; children, Gail and Michael Cantrell, Lori and Keith Dodd; grandchildren, Kayla (Chris) Gallimore, Mystical (Jacob) Evans, Cole (Lauren) Cantrell; great grandchildren, Leilan, Myles, Piper, Elsie, and Watson; sister, Margie (Bobby) Jennings; brother, Clinton Garrett; sisters-in-law, Peggy Pearson, Marie Pearson, and Frances Garrett; several nieces , nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Johnny Purcell and Rev. Drew Pearson officiating. Interment to follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Harmony Baptist Church WMU , Shriner’s Hospital or St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
