Patty Thomas

Patty Thomas, age 79 of Cumming, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Alpharetta where she served as a trustee. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Roddy E. Thomas of Cumming; children, Rick Thomas (Jenny Trautman) of Atlanta, Teresa Ivory (Ed Rishmawy) of King of Prussia, PA, Andrea (John W. Jr.) Teate of Salem, SC, Julie (Dave) Grantier of Cumming; sister, Janice Rychen; grandchildren, Jill Anderson, Leah Calvert, April Anderson, Leslie Drury, David Rice and Benjamin Grantier; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 6th at 11:00 am at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 2415 Holbrook Campground Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004, with Dr. Sam Newman officiating. The family will receive friends at Macedonia United Methodist Church on Friday from 8:30 am until hour of service.
