Paul Andrew Baehman
September 4, 1968 - November 26, 2015
Imagine the wondrous plan God set in motion when Paul Baehman was born on
September 4, 1968 and baptized into the Christian faith on October 13 that
same year. Over the next forty-seven years, God would lead him on a journey
that is awe-inspiring and courageous.
Born in Muskegon, MI to parents Walmer and Heloise Baehman, Paul thrived in
the embrace of a Christian family. His faith was further strengthened at
Trinity Lutheran School and Church (Neenah,WI) and Fox Valley Lutheran High
School (Appleton, WI). In his sophomore year, his path crossed with Pam
Stolzman. They became best friends and have always shared their love of
music. Paul continued on to graduate from Lawrence University with a
bachelor of music degree and married Pam in 1993. They moved to Alpharetta,
GA in 1996.
It is evident that God was grooming Paul; on his continued journey at home
and at work; in Wisconsin and Georgia. As soulmates, Paul and Pam
enjoyed 22 years of Christian marriage and the awesome gift of children
(Jonathan, 15 and Anna, 13). The entire family actively participates at
Messiah Lutheran Church where they have touched many hearts. Paul's talents
led him to become Music Minister at Messiah and a musical instructor at
Bridgeway Christian Academy where both children attended.
Quality family time was often spent at Disney World and relaxing days on
Sanibel Beach, FL. They also returned to Wisconsin as often as they could.
As was God's plan, Paul was gently guided to His heavenly throne on
Thanksgiving Day, where he was reunited with his parents. What a celebration
to know he is free of pain and robed in His glory!
Faithful survivors include wife Pamela, children Jonathan and Anna; siblings
Dr. LeAnn (Dr. Tim Bender) Baehman; Tom (Lisa) Baehman; and Susan Baehman; in-laws Ken and Dawn Stolzman, Sara (Robert) Gottschalk and Paul (Stacy) Stolzman; and many loving nieces and nephews -- all who will miss his
confidence, positive attitude and snappy wit.
As Paul so lovingly shared with his family and friends, "May God continue to
bestow upon you the richest of blessings and the peace that is beyond our
understanding. All my love to you. Keep letting your light shine."
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4765 Kimball Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA, commencing at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the service, a celebration luncheon will be held at Bridgeway Christian Academy, 4755 Kimball Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be set up for Messiah Lutheran Church, Bridgeway Christian Academy, Fellowship Christian School and Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
