Paul Elijah Pruitt

Paul Elijah Pruitt, loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 77, of Cumming, GA, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2015. He was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Carlton R. and Dovie Pruitt, his sister Evelyn Pruitt, and his wife of fifty-four years, Edwina "Sis" Pruitt. Survivors include his sons Hal and Janet Pruitt, and Mike and Tammy Pruitt of Cumming; brothers Lamar Pruitt of Cumming, Leon and Hazel Pruitt of Tignall, GA, and sister Lillie Mae "Mickie" Wilkins of Dawsonville. Grandchildren include Carla and Rusty Gober, Carmen Pruitt, Michael Pruitt and fiance Rosie LeBlanc, and Heather and Casey Cagle. Great-grandchildren include Rayden, Reece, and Ava Gober, and Koltyn Cagle; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Pruitt, Rev. Rusty Gober, Rev. Larry Vaughan, Rev. Michael Pruitt, and Rev. Jerry Orr officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 10, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 11, 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
