Peggy Weldy

Peggy Weldy, age 82, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, November 26th, 2014. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Peggy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was referred to by many as Mom or Nana Peg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Joseph Weldy, Sr; brother, Charles Jones, Albert Jones and Tommy Jones; sister, Tena Jo Padgett. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Freund of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Bo and Kim Weldy of Cumming, Tommy and Anita Weldy of Cumming; sister, Betty Ann Ray of Young Harris; grandchildren, Hannah Weldy, Connor Weldy, Ashlee Weldy, Jake Weldy, Mason Weldy; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30th at 3:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Larry Vaughan and Rev. Henry Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
