Phillip Mark Dooley

Phillip Mark Dooley, 64, of Dacula, GA formerly of Cumming, GA passed away September 27, 2023.

Mark was a school teacher, aircraft pilot, gifted musician, and obtained a master's degree from the University of Georgia. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a loving father, brother, son, and friend. He held a fascination with all things involving motorcycles, technology, flight, space craft, movies, and rock music. He loved to tinker, and figure out how things worked. His sense of humor, and his sarcasm will be missed dearly.

Mr. Dooley was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll “Red” and Marie Dooley; and his brother, William Jeffery Dooley.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Dooley (Kristina LaPlant), Alaina Dooley (Liam Kantwill); brother, John (Joy) Dooley; sister, Allison Cumbo; sister-in-law, Carolyn Dooley; and his former wife, Donna McGinnis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly and was loved by. 

Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Coker officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 and Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 am until service time at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
