Randall Day, age 88, born February 28, 1938, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026. Lived most of his life in the Coal Mountain community, Randall was a long-time member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver and farmer, raising cows. He was also a long-time member of the Masons with Lafayette Lodge No.44 in Cumming, Georgia. 

Randall was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His pride and joy were his family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Jean Day; parents, Joseph Collie Day and Ruby Martin Day; sister, Gwynell Burruss (Ed); and brothers, Redge Day and Charles Day.

Randall’s memory will live on through his daughters, Rhonda Kennedy (Ken) and Deanna Reese (Dave); grandsons and families, Nathan Kennedy (Brittany), Joshua Russell, Jacob Russell, Ethan Kennedy (Montana), Dalton Kennedy (Lexi), and Jarrett Russell (Sydney); great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Russell, Kendall Kennedy, Cody Kennedy, Eloise Kennedy, and Calla Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Mary Day and Joyce Perry; as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
