Randall Julian Elrod

Randall Julian Elrod, age 68, of Cumming passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. He is preceded in death by an infant son, Jeff Elrod; mother, Ina Bell Elrod; father, Bill Elrod; sisters, Shirley Reid, Barbara Elrod; brother, Robert Elrod and a step-son, Jason Burns. Survivors include his son, Cameron Lackey of Gadsden, AL; granddaughter, Hope Lackey of Gadsden, AL; step-children, David Burns, Denise (Pumpkin) Burns, Nicole Durham Walker, Amanda Kelley; brother and sister-in-law, Marcus (Buster) and Sue Elrod of Cumming; brother-in-law, Loy Reid of Cumming; special friends, Charlotte Corbin and family; a number of nieces and nephews and other family members. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to assist with the funeral expenses. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
