Rev. Thomas Lester Burdett Jr

Rev. Thomas Lester Burdett, Jr. age 91, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 peacefully in his sleep. Brother Tom was a longtime evangelist and pastor of Lighthouse for Jesus in Sugar Hill, GA. He was a highly decorated Army veteran of WWII. Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nellie Burdett, who passed 2 years ago on July 8, 2012. Survivors include his brother, Sam Burdett of Cumming; numerous nieces and nephews; 4 step-daughters, Faye Baxley of TN, Julie Thom of OH, Corliss Hicks of GA and Elaine McClain of GA ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.
