Reva Mae Brown Jennings, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, she was an active member and founder of the Republican Party in Forsyth County and in Georgia. Mrs. Jennings was a one-time state president of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women, chairman of the Forsyth County Republican Party, and a former Republican Woman of the year. She was a proud member of the Forsyth County chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was also a former president of the Cumming Garden Club and a member of the 400 North Board of Realtors. Mrs. Jennings worked for Caldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. More than any of her accomplishments, Mrs. Jennings considered her love and devotion to her family to be her greatest of all. Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Bruce E. Jennings of Cumming. She is survived by her three children, Bruce E. Jennings III, Brent Sanford (Carrie) Jennings, and Reva Rae Jennings. She is also survived by her beloved grand-twins, Avery and Brooks Jennings; sister, Louise Brown Little of Morganton, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roger Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
