Rickey Roscoe Ramey

Rickey Roscoe Ramey, age 60, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Rickey was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and attended New Bethel Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. He enjoyed hunting, playing horseshoes and flying kites. Rickey was always willing to help others and had a servants heart. Anytime you saw him he would have a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Rickey was also a prankster and a jokster. He loved to have a good laugh and was RRR Bad to the Bone. He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Willie Mae Ramey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Alida Smith Ramey; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Josh Hensley; grandchildren, Deacon and Vera Mae; siblings, Wanda (PeeWee) Smith, Donnie (Elaine) Ramey, David (Denise) Ramey, and Aaron (Pam)Ramey; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Danny Ray Martin, and Rev. Jamie Sanford officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
