Ricky Keith McGinnis

Ricky Keith McGinnis, age 70, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was employed by AT&T for thirty years. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby McGinnis and June McGinnis Wallis; stepfather, Joe Wallis; brother-in-law, Tony Phillips.

Ricky loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or mowing his yard. He enjoyed playing baseball for several years and was an excellent switch hitter.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; daughters, Valerie (Keith) Shadburn, Bethany (Brian) McCoy; grandchildren, Jake Shadburn, Bryson McCoy, Avery Shadburn, Mason McCoy; sisters, Vickie McGinnis, Christie (Ryan) Kirby; niece, Jodie (Anthony) Napolitano; nephew, Brody Downs; sisters-in-law, Marsha Phillips, Donna Phillips; Special Aunt, Louise McGinnis. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Swafford officiating. The interment will follow at Brookwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service.
