Rita Jane Cox Mennell

Mrs. Rita Jane Cox Mennell, age 68 of Gainesville (Forsyth Co.), passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 after a courageous fight against breast cancer. Survivors include her husband, Dale S. Mennell of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Jeff Greene of Flowery Branch, Stacey and Scott Rutherford of Gainesville and Andrea and Chris Fitzpatrick of Flowery Branch; brother, Thomas J. Cox of Grand Prairie, TX; 6 grandchildren, Ashton, Alyssa and J.J. Greene, Tatum and Brenley Rutherford and Colin Fitzpatrick; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 17th at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. Father Alvaro Avendano officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 16th at Ingram Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
