Robert "Gene" Jackson

Robert Gene Jackson, age 81, of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was born in 1937 to the late, James and Ruby Jackson. Gene was a great husband for 61 years and a loving father and grandfather. He devoted his life to God and his family. He had an incredible work ethic and loved being outside. Gene was a member at New Life Church of God in Dawsonville, GA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Jackson and his 9 siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Jackson; children, Danny Jackson and Connie Strickland; grandchildren, Jessica Rogers, Nicole Parrish, Laura Strickland, Summer Lawrence; 4 great grandchildren with one on the way; 2 nieces; 2 nephews, and 1 half brother; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

A celebration of life service will be held at New Life Church of God in Dawsonville, GA, at a later date.
