Robert Johnson Barrett, 85, of Suwanee, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Born on February 25, 1940, in Giddings, Texas, Robert was the cherished son of the late William Robert Barrett and Blanche Henley Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Billie Jean Heck, Linda Nitsche, and Glenda Spate.

Robert was a proud graduate of the University of Texas and honorably served his nation in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He dedicated 25 years to a distinguished career in Human Resources with the Monsanto Company. His professional path took him and his family across the country, serving at plant locations in Texas, California, Florida, Iowa, and Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rebekah Barrett, and their two sons, Stephen Barrett (Tabatha) and Shannon Barrett (Jennifer). Robert is also survived by five grandchildren, Katie Bulloch, Samuel Barrett, Anna Grace Cates, Maggie Barrett, and Abby Barrett; two great-grandchildren, Raelynn Cates and Reid Bulloch; and his sister, Ollie Siegeler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 10:30 AM Georgia National Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
