Bob was a gregarious, fun loving, man who never knew a stranger. He was the Cumming “Hat Man”, possessing over 30 colorful, crazy hats that he never failed to wear shopping or eating out or running errands. He carried almost all of them in his trunk and would happily invite anyone to see his collection, much to the delight of many. He lived to make people smile and feel special.

He was a member of the Lions club, and a champion softball pitcher on the Jaycees team. He and Dolores loved bowling, dancing, playing golf and roller skating. He routinely cooked breakfast on the beach at sunrise on Christmas mornings. He was an avid cook and loved making Christmas Cookies for everyone.
He and his beloved wife traveled to all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. He loved playing cards in Vegas and Lake Tahoe and loved camping and fishing all over Florida.
Bob shared his “business” cards all over town. They included a puzzle or riddle you had to solve before he let you go!! In his last years he was a frequent patron of Dunkin Donuts, Maries Deli and Midway Meal House, Publix, and CVS, delighting the patrons and staff.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and neighbors. One very special gift Bob had was sending everyone in his neighborhood a handwritten birthday card. It was a passion of his to celebrate life with smiles and sweet messages.
