Robert (Bobby) James Pilcher

Robert James Pilcher (Bobby) of Dahlonega, GA passed away at his home on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Bobby was born and raised in Forsyth County to the late Otis and Myrtle Neisler Pilcher. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mandy Williams Pilcher; son, Bobby Lee Pilcher; sisters, Betty Jean Pilcher, Margie Parker, Shelia McCallister, and Barbara Pilcher; brother, Wayne Pilcher. 

He is survived by his daughters, Janice Curtis and Lisa Griffin; siblings, Patsy Turner, Hazel Bennett, and Cynthia Kothenbeutel; brother, Jerry Pilcher; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Bobby was the owner of Pilcher Construction and later Anchor Construction until his retirement in 2005. Bobby enjoyed reading, carpentry, and gardening and was a loyal fan of Nascar Racing.  

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
