Robert Charles Lamb Sr.

Robert Charles Lamb Sr., age 77 of Cumming Georgia died in his home on October 18, 2023. He was born in Newport News, Virginia in 1945 to William and Josephine Lamb.

Robert (known to his friends and family as “Bob”) started his work life as an apprentice at the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company and went on to work in the Engineering field as a Project Manager for more than 40 years of his career. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, walks with his dog “Cobalt”, and cheering on his favorite football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Douglas, William and Ronald. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, children Robert, Josephand Ashleigh, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The service will be held at Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory on October 28th at 2pm, located at 210 Ingram Avenue in Cumming, Georgia 30040.
