The family of Robert Paul Witherow is deeply saddened to announce the passing of an amazing Father, Grandfather, & Great Grandfather.

Paul (Papa), age 85, of Cumming, GA passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Paul (Papa) was born June 13, 1940, in Dawsonville, GA to the late Charlie & Delia Witherow. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 amazing years, Shirley Ruth Witherow, children, Ann Chumbler, Tina Grizzle, Candi Tucker, brothers, Jewel & Gene Witherow, sisters, Maxine Clark & Charlene Adams.

He is survived by Elaine Castleberry Mollet (Frank), Robin Holtzclaw Bass (Robert), several grandchildren, and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Sunday, June 7, 2026, in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
