Rodney "Rude" Lee James

Rodney Lee Rude James, 40, of Temple, GA passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Rodney was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the 3rd U.S. Infantry, The Old Guard, at Arlington National Cemetery. A wonderful uncle, he was adored by all of his nieces and nephews. Rodney is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca James.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa James; his father, Jesse James, both of Temple; a brother, Rusty Lawhorn of Dawsonville; 2 sisters, Jamie Roland of Dawsonville and Selena Harris of Buford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
