Robert Lee Dowis Jr.

Robert Lee Dowis Jr., age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away on March 31st, 2026. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Robert was a loving husband, father, and friend. He loved to hunt, fish and do anything outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jeanette Dowis; son, Steve Dowis; sister, Charlotte Dowis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Betty Dowis; daughter, Jennifer Mara; brothers, Victor (Dale) Dowis, David (Linda) Dowis, Raymond Dowis; sister, Lynn; step children, Kelly (Rachel) Shirley, Kim Reed; grandchildren, Jack Davenport and Jordan Shirley; nieces, nephews, and other loving family survive.
