Rose Marie Evans

Mrs. Rose Marie Evans 72 of Abbeville formerly of Cumming departed this life April 28, 2025, at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Evans was born to her parents Zed Neighbors and Cora Hancock. Rose was a Wilcox County School System lunchroom worker for many years. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Father, Zed Neighbors, and Mother, Cora Hancock, Husband, William Eugene Evans, grandchildren, William Lee Robertson, Sandie Marie Evans, son-in-law, Darrell Robertson, and 8 siblings.

Survivors include children, Fay Robertson (B.J.), Billy Evans (Tracy), Henry Evans (Patricia), Kenneth Evans, and Angela Gunter (Sam), 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family also survive.

Services to honor Mrs. Rose Evans's life will be Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM until the service hour.
