Peggy Dianne Morris (Susie), age 82, of Cumming, GA, passed peacefully away on January 11th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Dianne was the heart of her family. Her kindness, strength, and her gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Dianne was a member of True Way Baptist Church. She found her greatest joy in caring for her loved ones and creating a warm, welcoming home.
She especially loved baking for her family, friends, and church, sharing homemade treats as a simple but meaningful way to show her love. Many cherished memories were made around her kitchen table. For many years, Dianne worked in retail, dedicating her time and talents to Kmart and Ingles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vernia Hansard; brothers, James “Jimmy” Hansard, Dwight Hansard; brother-in-law, Wayne Willoughby.
She is survived by sons and daughters in-law, Andy & Heidi Morris, Randy & Lisa Morris, Scott & Anita Morris; brother, Nathaniel 'Pam' & Vivian Hansard; sister, Joan Willoughby, sister-in-law, Pat Hansard, and Nannette Hansard; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sammy Morris, age 82, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of God, passed away on January 12th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of True Way Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Outside of work and church, Sammy had a lifelong passion for baseball and classic cars. Sammy worked for Coca-Cola for over 30 years. Sammy enjoyed Gods creation and loved teaching his three sons how to hunt and fish. Sammy and Diane spent 63 years of love and marriage together being inseparable to the very end.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Edna Morris; brother, Gerald Morris; sisters and brother in-law, Sally & Leverette Heard, Evelyn Morris; his loving wife of 63 years, Dianne Morris.
He is survived by sons and daughters in-law, Andy & Heidi Morris, Randy & Lisa Morris, Scott & Anita Morris; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Myra “Nettie” Geyer; host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held for Sammy and Dianne on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Monroe officiating. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
