Sandra Cowart Martin

Sandra Cowart Martin, age 77, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was a native of Forsyth County and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Sandra was born on May 4. 1948 to Hubert and Vera Cowart. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Bernice O’Bryant and Brenda Lewis; niece, Vickie Hopkins and a great nephew, Cole Hopkins.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James (Mike) Martin; children, Marty (Melissa) Martin, Joel Martin, Julie (Todd) Machado; grandchildren, Dustin and Bridgett Martin, Jana and Corey Crump, Cheyenne Martin, Ryan, Molly, and Ty Machado; great grandchildren, Toccoa Burnette, Oliver and Brentlee Crump, and Easton Martin.

Memorial services will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. Inurnment will follow at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
