Sara A. Wood

Sara A. Nix Wood, age 78, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, H. Paul Nix and Velma P. Nix; brothers, Tony L. Nix and Winford W. Nix. Survivors include sisters and brothers, Wayne Nix of Cumming, Janice N. (Morris) Sweatman of Carnesville, GA, Michael (Margie) Nix of Cumming, Kelly N. (Jason) Martin of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and cousins that Sara loved very much. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Clark Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
