Sarah Ann Cash gained her new Heavenly body and joined her husband of 71 years, Royce, on Sunday morning May 24, 2026. She was born August 18, 1938. She was a lifelong member of Daves Creek Baptist Church and to her last days prayed earnestly for and kept abreast of her church family. Sarah Ann loved to talk about Jesus and share her favorite scriptures (Matthew 18:20 and James 5:16) and remind others to pray without ceasing. She never met a stranger and after leaving the workforce (having worked at both Scientific Atlanta & Forsyth County Schools) to care for her mother, she could often be found at the Huddle House or WalMart on her breaks.

She is now reunited with her son, granddaughter, sister and brothers along with countless other family members. She leaves behind her daughter and caregiver, a granddaughter and 4 great grandchildren, her caregiver and sister in law, and so many nieces and nephews who she also considered her own. They will happily tend to her gardens and carry on her legacy of praying and encouraging others.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Daves Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Carrel Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Instead of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made to Daves Creek Church in her name.
