Sarah Bradley Duffey

Sarah Bradley Duffey, age 88, of Jasper, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 21, 2026

Born on December 14, 1937, in Tate, Georgia, Sarah was the youngest daughter of Charlie and Virginia Bradley. She was raised with the love and support of her family and the close-knit community she always cherished.

Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, Edmond Herbert Duffey, Sr.; her daughter, Tara Leigh Duffey; her son, Edmond Herbert Duffey, Jr.; her parents, Charlie and Virginia Bradley; and her sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Jones (Cliff) and Laura Trousdale (Perkins); her grandchildren, Katie Gordon (Will), Michael Jones (Meagan), Brad Anuszkiewicz (Annie), Matthew Anuszkiewicz (Ari), Mark Anuszkiewicz (Michaela), Nicholas Trousdale (Pattie), Lauren Trousdale, Steven Duffey (Daly), Patrick Farrell (Kelli), Brett Duffey, and Brandon Duffey; her great-grandchildren, Katelyn Gordon, Mason Jones, Cooper Jones, Autumn Jones, Melody Duffey, Allison Duffey, Bexleigh Duffey, Teagan Farrell, Kain Anuszkiewicz, Shay Anuszkiewicz, Taylor Anuszkiewicz, Levi Anuszkiewicz, and Jacob Anuszkiewicz; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.

After graduating from high school and secretary school, Sarah met the love of her life, Edmond. They married and built a life centered on family, and hard work. Throughout her career, she served in various secretarial, bookkeeping, and administrative roles, before retiring after many years as Office Manager with Halo/Jack Nadel.

Sarah enjoyed playing Bridge, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Falcons, working her daily Wordle, and spending time with family and friends. Whether you knew her as Sarah, Mrs. Duffey, Momma, Grandmeir, Grandma, Meemaw, or Gigi, she will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.

Above all, Sarah loved the Lord. Her faith was reserved but unwavering, evident not in loud words but in the way she lived her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, treasured friendships, and a family who will forever be grateful for her example.

A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, August 1, at 10:00 a.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 31, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
