Sarah Frances Tidwell

Sarah Frances (Boles) Tidwell, age 87 of Cumming, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and was a beloved mother and grandmother and always put her family above herself. She loved to garden and found time to garden and raise 3 children while working full time. She had a 25 year career with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in Atlanta and a 10 year career with the former Wachovia Bank in Cumming. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eloise Tidwell Harper; son, Kenneth Tidwell. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert L. Tidwell; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Larry Cowart; son-in-law, Billy Harper; grandchildren, Chris Harper, Clint Harper, Travis Cowart, Tyler, Cowart; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Emma Bradford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry English officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.
