Sarah Carmen Lugo

Our beloved Sarah Carmen Lugo was called home by God on December 24, 2024, to enter His eternal kingdom. Though our hearts were not ready to say goodbye, we found solace in knowing that she is now in a place of peace and eternal joy.

Sarah was a warrior of unmatched strength. She faced her journey with courage and grace, never complaining despite her pain. A devout Catholic, Sarah’s unwavering faith in God provided her immense comfort as she transitioned to her eternal life in heaven.

Sarah was the pillar of our family—a source of strength, faith, and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife to Monico Lugo Jr., cherished daughter of Sarah and Sam Villafane, beloved mother to Monica Samoilenko and Anthony Lugo, and treasured sister to Sam Villafane. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony Jr, and Nadia, who all held a special place in her heart and Nikita beloved Pet she adored.

Above all, Sarah was a loyal servant to God. Her love for the church and her Savior, Jesus Christ, was evident in the way she shared warmth, compassion, and the message of His love with everyone she encountered.

Sarah's life serves as a testament to strength, perseverance, love, and compassion. Though we will mourn her absence daily, her legacy and the love she instilled in all of us will endure forever.

We trust in God’s promise that we will one day be reunited, and until then, her memory will remain a guiding light in our lives.
