Scott T. Simonson

Captain Scott T. Simonson, age 67, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012. Scott was a kind, generous, energetic and loving husband, father and grandfather who was tirelessly devoted to his family. After graduating from Florida State University as an Alpha Tau Omega member, he started a 26 year career in the Navy which took him across the nation and the globe. During this time, he earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee. Following his retirement from the Navy, Scott also became a successful stockbroker. His love of the outdoors was always prevalent, with fishing and golfing on the forefront, providing enjoyment and peace. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Simonson; mother, Anne Marchak; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Courtnee Simonson; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Debbie Simonson; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Steven Ellison; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Tim Lanham; brother, Howard Simonson; grandchildren, Aiden, Greg, Carter, Evan, Piper, Cameron and numerous other cherished relatives and friends.
