Sherry Lynn Barrett, age 63, of Gainesville, GA., passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her home. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Susie Barrett; grandchildren, Grace and Wyatt Pruitt. She was a hard worker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Dwayne Pruitt and Keeva Pruitt; granddaughter, Faith Pruitt; sisters and brothers in law, Pauline Frady (Ricky), Charlotte Chadwick (Lyndon), Annie Mc Clung (Donnie); brothers and sisters in law, Stanley Hudgins, Ronald Barrett (Kathie), Richard Barrett, Bob Finch (Maureen), special nephew and niece, Bobby and Allison Terry along with several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 2pm to 7pm.
