Sidney Earl Potts, Sr.

Sidney Earl Potts, Sr., age 76, of Cumming, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020. Sidney was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Sidney and Helen loved taking day trips to the North Georgia Mountains and he enjoyed cleaning the Playhouse for the City of Cumming. Sidney was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved the Georgia Bulldogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Watson and Minnie Lois "Hagood" Potts; brother, David Lee Potts; step-son, Ricky Tallant.

Sidney is survived by his wife, Helen Grace Potts; children, Sidney Potts, Jr "Angela" of Kingston, GA, Tammy Spencer "Niekolass" of SC, Cindy Burgener "Shawn" of PA; step-children, Barbara Pitts "Stephen" of Cumming, Donna Cruse "Leon" of Cumming, Karon Kalb of Cumming; sister, Bonnie Bennett of FL; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces also survive.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic no services are scheduled.
