Sina Shayegan, 26, of Athens, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 27. Sina was born in Tehran, Iran on June 13, 1988, to Farideh Pedrami and Tahmoures Shayegan, and relocated to the United States in 1999, where he was raised by his mother and his adoptive father, Benyamin Chernobrov. Sina graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Georgia and was a doctoral candidate in the university's veterinary medicine progam. Sina was a sweet, caring man, and a friend to all animals. He is survived by his parents, Farideh and Benyamin Chernobrov; his father, Tahmoures Shayeganaunt; his aunt, Fereshteh Pedrami; and his cousins, Mitra Pedrami and Mahtab Pedrami. A memorial service celebrating Sina's life will be held on Sunday, August 31 at 2 PM at Ingram Funeral Home at 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
