Sydney Shea Harden Bamberg
Sydney Shea Harden Bamberg, 30, passed away on July 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Shea was born in Columbus, GA and grew up in Phenix City, AL where she graduated from Central High School in 2001. A life-long Judson Girl, she graduated from Judson College in 2004. After marrying the love of her life, Shea moved to Atlanta where she had a successful career in accounting with Larson-Juhl.
Shea lived her life full of energy, determination, sass, and with a whole lot of love. Her story and legacy is one of faith, strength, courage, and perseverance.
Shea is survived by her loving husband Todd, beautiful son Ellis, sister Erin Dixon (Mark), parents Sid and Janice Harden, grandparents Myrtle Harden and Benjamin Martin (Dot), in-laws Berle and Janet Bamberg, sister-in-law Ashley Jones (Jason), and niece Kaelynn Jones. Shea was preceded in death by her grandfather Frank Harden and grandmother Joan Martin. A celebration of Sheas life will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 1:00 pm, at Shadowbrook Baptist Church, 4187 Suwanee Dam Road, Suwanee, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ellis Bamberg 529 College Fund (Check payable to Path2College 529 Plan; Mail to Ellis Bamberg College Fund, 120 Green Fall Pointe, Atlanta GA 30350) or the Northside Hospital NICU (Northside Hospital Foundation, 1000 Johnson Ferry Rd, Atlanta, GA 30342; 770-667-4483).
