Sydney "Sonny" Bush

Sydney “Sonny” Bush, 89, went to Heaven on June 9, 2025, surrounded by his wife and daughters.

Sonny was born on June 1, 1936 in Donaldsonville, Ga and lived in Atlanta since he was 12 years old.

Sonny is predeceased by his parents Billy Bush and Jane (Pinkston) Bush, and his son, Billy David Bush.

Sonny is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 69 years, Patty (Teagle), daughters Leslie Hollis (Jeff), Peggy Mealor (Larry), and Sydney Ann Bush. Sonny had 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of Sonny’s life on June 19th at 2:30pm at the Reid Barn in Cumming, GA.
