Taft J. Youngblood, age 78, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. He loved to fish and collect coins. He also had a good time using his metal detector to find treasures. Taft is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Youngblood; son, Jimmy Youngblood; daughter, Pamela Youngblood and grandson, Michael Wilkerson. Survivors include his grandchildren, Denise and (Billy) Pillsbury of Griffin, GA, Jimmy Wilkerson of Richmond, TX, Jennifer Wilkerson of Richmond, TX; great grandchildren, Will and Blake Pillsbury of Griffin, GA; brothers, William and Tim Thompson; sister, Sara New; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Betty Wood of Cumming, J.T. Wood of Hogansville, Joyce Densmore of Union City, Gene and Jane Wood of Austell, Louis and Terry Wood of Spring, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Keith Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
