Teresa Gail Chester

Teresa Gail Chester, age 65 of Dahlonega passed away suddenly Saturday May 3,2025.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Sybil Mae Palmer, father James Bernard Chester, and sister Wanda Gayton.

Survivors include her husband Paul “Richy” Fortune ,her only daughter Marrissa “Nikki” Chester, her grandchildren Codie (Jordyn) Hutto, Rhianna (Justin) Painter. Great grandchildren Tessa, Amiyah, and Tommy Painter. Sisters Vickie Chester and Becky Wheeler, Brothers Gene Goswick, James Wheeler . Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Teresa was a free spirited, outgoing, loving soul. She was the light in any room she entered, and she was loved by everyone. She was a great mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all she met. She loved to tell stories of her past to keep people entertained. Her favorite hobbies include hunting rocks, painting, and other crafts. She loved to take hikes and enjoy the outdoors as much as she could; nature was her happy place. Teresa had a green thumb and loved to plant flowers and add to her garden, she took her plants serious as if they were her babies.

Teresa will be missed by all.
