Thelma Nesheim

Thelma Nesheim (Jane), wife, mother and grandmother passed peacefully of natural causes, on March 20, 2023, at the age of 97. Thelma was born in Bronx, NY on January 16th, 1926, to Francis & Nunzio Testagrossa. 

Thelma will always be remembered for her wisdom, courage and passion for life. She spent her professional years as an accountant. In addition to her career and family, Thelma expressed her creativity through painting, opera singing, piano playing, landscaping, sewing, knitting, pottery and decorating. For entertainment, you could often find her at a blackjack table even up to her last year.

Thelma is survived by her 3 children and their spouses Erik (Deborah), Kurt (Mallie) and Ingrid (Keith). In addition, she is survived by her 6 grandchildren (Erik, Vanse, Stefan, Wesley, Courtney and Brooke) and 3 great grandchildren (Ezra, Penelope and Colt). She is predeceased by her spouse, Elmer Nesheim, of 54 years. 

Prior to moving to Forsyth County Georgia in 2006, Thelma was a longtime resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her remains will be buried in the Oakland Cemetery in West Chester at a private graveside service.
