Timothy Clifford Scutt

Timothy C. Scutt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 15, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1963. From the very beginning, Timothy’s life was marked by his extraordinary generosity and a heart of gold. As a young boy, he took great care in looking after his siblings, a trait that grew stronger as he matured into the man everyone loved and admired. Timothy was known for his ability to find joy in life, no matter the circumstance. He loved to laugh and had a gift for bringing smiles to those around him (especially with his big bear hugs). Even in times of trial, Timothy faced challenges with resilience and the steadfast love of his family and friends.

Tim’s life was blessed with love not once, but twice. He was first married to Christine A. Scutt, who preceded him in death in 2020. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised two children, Jessica Catrett and Craig Scutt. Jessica is married to Trevor, and they are the proud parents of Hunter (7) and Jackson (4). Craig is married to Abigail, and they share a daughter, Anna Christine (19 months). Timothy cherished his role as “Pop-Pop,” and his grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy.

In his later years, Timothy was blessed to find love again with his wife, Lori O’Gara, who survives him. Lori brought renewed happiness and light into his life, and their love was a true gift that carried him through his last years, months, and days. He smiled more, laughed more, and had a deep love that healed him. Lori and Timothy brought both families together to create one big, loving family. Tim is also survived by his stepdaughter, Natalie O’Gara, who he treated as his own daughter and held a special place in his heart. Tim joins his stepdaughter, Kaylyn O’Gara, who preceded him in death and who the family believes helped to bring Lori and Tim together from heaven.

Along with his wife and children, Timothy is survived by his loving parents, Frank and Margaret (Peg) Scutt; his siblings, Jeff (Cheryl) and their daughters Cosette (Joshua) and Brielle (Jeremy), Patty (Dave) and their children Katlyn (Nic) and Kody (Olivia), and Tammy (Nick) and their children Cosmo (Sarah), Rocco (Madison), Emilia (Devin), and Marisa; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever carry his memory.

The family is deeply saddened by the loss of Timothy’s presence in their lives, as his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet, they find comfort in knowing he is now in heaven, watching over them with love and peace.

Timothy will be remembered for his boundless kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved most. His life was a testament to generosity, resilience, and the power of family. Please join the family in a celebration of life on Saturday, August 23 at Ingram Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 with a service following at 12:00.
