Vee Jay Cox

Vee Jay Cox, 69, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Vee Jay owned and operated Cox and Son Auto Service in Fayetteville, N.C. for over 20 years. Before that, he spent 21 years (1963 - 1985) proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kara Nicole Ross. Survivors include his loving wife, Laura Cox; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Connie Cox; daughter and son-in-law, Tischa and Joe Ross; grandchildren, Sandra and Jason Bennett, Brittany Cox, Joseph Ross, Jr., Hunter Ross, Hayden Ross; great grandchildren, Brock Bennett and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Schmid officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.
