Vickie Jean Barber

Vickie Jean Barber, age 65 of Dahlonega, GA, passed away on January 30, 2024.  Vickie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked at Long Branch Elementary in Lumpkin County where she was a custodian and loved her children there.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sally Jones; brother, Kelly Jones; sister, Darlene Cunningham; grandson, Everest Barber.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Anthony Barber; children, Andrea Swain, Rusty Barber, Jason Barber, Gina Waller; grandchildren, Lexy, Jacob, Brooklynn, Darious, Everson, Hunter, Bryce; brother, Mike Jones; sister, Martha Chambers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Saturday, from 12:00 until the hour of service.
