Virginia Phagan Holbrook

Virginia Phagan Holbrook, age 81, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming. She retired from Southern Bell with 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Holbrook; granddaughter, Kristi Holbrook; brother, Billy Phagan. Survivors include her children, Phil (Kathy) Holbrook of Forsyth County, Greg (Debbie) Holbrook of Forsyth County; grandchildren, Jeffery (Michelle) Hammond, Amy (Jason) DeBaker, Justin Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessie Hammond, Cole DeBaker; other loving family members also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13th at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
