Walter Gray Driskell, Jr

Mr. Walter Gray Driskell, Jr. age 82 of Buford, GA passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Buford, a WWII Veteran, and served in both the Navy and Marine Corp. Mr. Driskell was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Driskell; father, John V. Shirley and mother, Estelle Shirley; brother, Bill Shirley. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Gray and Melinda Driskell of Lawrenceville and Ken and Missy Driskell of Cumming; brother, Joe Shirley of Atlanta; grandchildren, Nichole Rogers, Austin Driskell, Erica Driskell, Christy Driskell, Sarah Driskell and Dylan Driskell all of Cumming; great granddaughter, Kensington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, January 12th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, January 13th from 11:00 am until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
