Walter Felix Jurgielewicz Jr., age 77 of Cumming, GA, passed peacefully and surrounded by his family on January 18th, 2026. He was born February 27th, 1948 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Walt was the quiet strength of his family. His kindness, humor, strength, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.

He worked and retired from Conrail Railroad, and prior to final retirement, worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Northside Hospital. He loved good old rock and roll, New York Yankees, and the Green Bay Packers.

But mostly, Walt adored his wife (predeceased by him), children, and grandchildren. He was always the greatest supporter of his children and grandchildren sonorous of all of their accomplishments.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Candy Jurgielewicz, and parents, Walter Jurgielewicz Sr. and Francis Jurgielewicz. He is survived by his son, Ed Tarbell (Tammie), Tracy McDaniels (Robert), Stacey Alberson (John), Kim Hallworth (Lucas), 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at The Glen Villas in Cumming, GA on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at 2pm.
