Wanda Elizabeth Rickett

Wanda Elizabeth Rickett, age 70, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully on February 8th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted member of Salem Baptist Church and found great joy in worshipping her Lord. Wanda will be remembered as loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time with her family. She especially enjoyed traveling with loved ones and proudly supporting her grandchildren in all their activities.

Wanda was also a professional bookkeeper, known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Norma English; brother, Jerry English.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Benny Rickett; children, Tamela (Rodney) Stanford, Mitchell (Brittany) Rickett; grandchildren, Ben (Shelby) Stanford, Mandie (Nathan) Sorrells, Hailey Rickett, Hannah Rickett, Jacson Rickett, Gentry Rickett, Karlie Rickett, Chasen Rickett; great granddaughters, Annabell Sorrells, Bennett Stanford; brother, Lynn (Cathy) English; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie (Rita) Rickett and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Taylor Cole, Rev. Wilson Pruitt, and Rev. Garry English officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, February 12th, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 6455 Westbrook Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506, for playground equipment in memory of Wanda Rickett.
